A gorgeous rosewood sideboard designed by Gunni Omann for Omann Jun in 1961.

The stunning tiger grain pattern is an exquisite deep reddish brown colour. This piece showcases a myriad of details that are unique hallmarks found in much of Gunni’s work.

Note the distinctly sculpted feet and handles. The sliding doors have sleek and linear handles, which beautifully juxtapose the organic looking legs. The legs have a very sculpted appearance they are gently splayed and tapered creating the illusion of an unburdened airiness.

The reverse of the cabinet is finished in rosewood making it usable as a lovely room divider. The interior of the cabinet is finished in an equally active grained teak. The shelves are fully adjustable using the original brass hardware. Opening the drawes revels solid wood constructed with dovetail joinery. one of the drawers have green velvet liners, which heighten the austerity of the overall aesthetic. This credenza can satisfy just about any storage application you can think of while simultaneously enhancing the splendor of any modern interior.
