A extremely rare William Plunkett side chair made in 1971.

The chair has a wonderful three legged aluminium frame with curved seating recently recovered in cognac brown high quality leather. William Plunkett became internationally known in the late sixties with his WP range and has become a design collectors must since. Similar in design to Poul Kjaerholms designs of the same era for Fritz hansen both used aluminium as a twist on traditional danish and mid-century designs from the likes of designers such as Ole Wanscher and Hans Wegner. The chrome has some wear with a few marks and scratches no rusting.

It trully is unique 1970s British contemporary design.
